How Far We've Come

Where It Started

A tragic, nationally-reported incident made the need for organised, scientific stray dog management impossible to ignore. Mr Manohar Bidaye stepped out of his corporate career to study the ABC Rules and spend months with vets, caregivers and municipal officers.

2024–2025

Founded, Then Proven

IndieCare AI Solutions Private Limited was founded in June 2024, built on one idea: give every Indie dog a verifiable identity, the way Aadhaar already does for every Indian citizen. In December 2024, Panvel Municipal Corporation ran India’s first scientific, AI-assisted stray dog enumeration, making Panvel the first Indian city with a photo-verified register of every stray dog, ward by ward.

2026

25,000+ Dogs, and Counting

As on date, through IndieCare AI’s platform, more than 25,000 dogs (across BMC, Panvel Municipal Corporation, corporates and educational institutions) have been digitally mapped and enrolled into the ecosystem. The IndieCare AI Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is incubated by SMILE Council of BMC and SINE at IIT Bombay, with technology validated by IIT Guwahati.

Manohar Bidaye is a business leader with over 30 years of experience in the electronic safety and security industry across India and the Middle East. He currently serves as Mentor and Chief Operating Officer at IndieCare AI, where he focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence to make stray dog management more structured, effective, and scalable. He holds a Master's degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai, is a Senior Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India since 1989, and also holds a degree in General Law. As Chairman of Zicom Electronic Security Systems Limited, he played a pivotal role in building one of the most prominent brands in electronic security and fire-fighting solutions across India and the GCC region. Over the years, he has mentored finance and legal operations across group companies, with a strong focus on acquisitions, divestments, and business turnarounds. In 2007, he acquired Unisafe Fire Protection Specialists LLC and transformed it into one of the top three specialized fire engineering companies in the region. In 2012, he acquired Phoenix International WLL, expanding its operations to serve leading corporations. He also led the strategic divestment of a successful Zicom division to Schneider Electric in 2010 to support the launch of a new SaaS initiative. Beyond business, he remains deeply committed to social impact. Through ASTM Skills Pvt. Ltd., he has contributed to large-scale skill development initiatives, helping train over one lakh students in India and overseas for careers in the security sector.

A seasoned professional with over 21 years of experience in Digital Marketing, eCommerce Revenue, Digital Transformation, and Media Planning. With an illustrious career spanning renowned companies such as Bajaj Finance, ICICI Securities, McDonalds, Amazon, and Disney-UTV, Sudhan has held key leadership positions including Head of Growth, Digital Business Head, Digital Head, Marketing Head, eCommerce Head, and Media Head.

As an avid animal lover, Sudhan is driven by a deep passion and empathy for all creatures great and small. With a nurturing spirit and an unwavering commitment to animal welfare, he dedicates time and efforts to making a positive impact on the lives of animals around him.

Sudhan is passionate about raising awareness about animal welfare issues in his community. He has organized educational workshops, campaigns, and fundraisers to promote responsible pet ownership, encourage spaying and neutering, and advocate for humane treatment of animals.

Madhura Bidaye is a commerce and law graduate with extensive experience in operations management and business processes. She currently serves as Director at IndieCare AI, where she oversees administration and accounts, focusing on operational efficiency and strong financial governance. In 2001, she founded Impact Printech Pvt. Ltd., a technology-driven company specializing in identity cards, access control cards, and smart card solutions. Over the years, the company successfully executed large-scale projects such as PAN cards, EPFO cards, and security access cards for the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security. As Director, she led a team of 40 employees, driving operational excellence and business growth. She later ventured into the skill development sector through a greenfield project in collaboration with Zicom. At ASTM, she managed end-to-end operations, including administration, course coordination, and marketing. Under her leadership, the institute trained more than one lakh students and facilitated placements across India and the Middle East. She is passionate about improving operational systems and empowering individuals through skill development. Beyond her professional journey, she enjoys cooking and values her role as a homemaker.

He retired as Global Head – IT Infrastructure from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) after a successful 25-year tenure.

Deepak is a results-oriented technocrat with expertise in end-to-end project planning and implementation — from scope management to activity sequencing, risk analysis, and quality management — in adherence to quality guidelines and norms. His core strengths include managing large programs, transitioning applications and operations between teams, product management, operational excellence, and utilizing technology insights.
